If the name Pavel Fesyuk sounds familiar to you, then you’re probably not mistaken. After all, he’s a 32-year-old ex-star of American Ninja Warrior. The NBC series features competitors tackling the tough, four-stage obstacle course in an attempt to be crowned an “American Ninja Warrior.”

It’s an insanely hard show. Consequently, only two people have ever achieved “total victory,” one of them walking away with the cool $1 million prize. And though Fesyuk himself only reached stage two, he became known for cheekily snapping selfies during the contest.

However, more recently he’s been in the public eye for a different reason. No longer appearing on TV, he now works as a pest exterminator in Rochester, New York. And while he was out on one of his recent shifts, something totally unexpected happened.
