On the outside it may appear grand; inside, however, the house hides a creepy history that will shock whoever ends up calling it home.

Built in 1895, the Penn Street property complements others in the area thanks to its red-brick facade. Indeed, such a feature is common among Bedford’s 200 buildings, some of which reflect Italianate, Greek Revival and Federal styles. Not everything about this building blends in, however.
