Kendall Jenner, as a member of the world-famous Kardashian-Jenner family, could have really spent her teenage years and young adulthood doing very little and still reaping rewards most of us could only dream of. But she didn’t. No, this Jenner wanted to be a model. And so, at the age of just 14, she became one. She added her super-famous name to the books of Wilhelmina Models in 2009, and from there she went on to bigger and bigger things – and bigger and bigger dresses.
But although Jenner spent her teen years walking for brands like Forever 21 and posing for Vogue, it wasn’t until 2014 that she really began to make waves. The second youngest Kardashian-Jenner stepped out in a sheer top for a Marc Jacobs show and then walked for Tommy Hilfiger in a bikini and see-through dress. And thus a new – and super-sexy – image was born.
Indeed, Jenner told Vogue that she once imagined her modeling career would be “embarrassing” and “a complete failure,” but she was absolutely wrong. Walking the catwalk for Chanel in September 2014, she proved her adaptability by rocking a feathered dress and a punk hairdo.
