The shelter workers couldn’t believe it – the cat had been returned again. It was the second time he had been brought back, and both for the same reason: his love. His displays of affection were putting people off the caring cat, and it broke the staff’s hearts to see him rejected.

The cat in question is Percy, a three-year-old ginger tom, who has gained attention for his unusual love displays. Percy was actually a shelter cat, and it speaks volumes that he found a home twice. However, he didn’t have the best of luck.

That’s because each time someone adopted Percy, they returned him to the shelter shortly after. Apparently, he was described as “too affectionate,” which is an unusual way to describe a cat. People often think cats are aloof, so Percy was already a departure from the norm.
