For some unknown reason, cows and horses crop up a lot in many Russian wedding photos. And it’s also mainly the animals’ backsides that feature. Perhaps it’s a tradition for good luck? Whatever it is, it’s just a good job that this one isn’t real.
Nothing shows commitment to a groom like a woman willing to bend down in a river, wearing a wedding dress while holding a golden arrow… in her mouth. Clunky symbolism aside, we can only hope that this was taken after the official ceremony and not before.
This bride and groom clearly have no idea what they’re doing with those accordions. Sadly, the look of forced pleasure on their faces is painfully palpable. Fortunately, though, the passing accordionist who’s decided to serenade them looks like he’s deep inside the music.
