Lewis was indeed six weeks pregnant, and despite being told she had lost the baby, it was confirmed that she hadn’t suffered a miscarriage after all. But her joy was short-lived. Just a week later Lewis returned to the hospital. She had started to bleed again and wanted to be checked over.
