If you’ve seen it in the movies or on TV, you might think you can identify when someone’s having a heart attack. Well, think again. Not all the symptoms are quite so obvious. Here, then, are nine of the more subtle signs that you may be having a heart attack.
1. Discomfort in the chest
Although it might not manifest itself as a sudden, shooting pain, the chest is nonetheless the primary area where warnings of a heart attack will occur. It is, however, a sensation that can manifest itself in different ways. “Everyone has a different word for that feeling,” Dr. Charles Chambers explained to webMD. “Some people say it’s like an elephant is sitting on them.
