Back in the good old days, guys would bring their dates a bunch of flowers or a little present. Why did we let this one go? Maybe let’s update it so women can bring men stuff too. Because come on, who doesn’t like gifts?

This dating habit is totally radical, of course. But these days, it seems that everyone’s playing hard to get. Indeed, no one says what they really mean. Back in the day, though, they were straight-shooters. Daters tended to make their intentions clearer and everything was so much easier.

These days, arranging a date likely involves a few WhatsApp messages and quite possibly some suggestive emojis. Very unromantic. In the past, however, guys would actually call women up – on the telephone. In fact, they’d have a conversation and make plans. Let’s bring it back.
