Child marriage, which Unicef describes as “a fundamental violation of human rights,” is still happening all over the world. And one YouTube star decided that he wanted to express his disgust at this practice. So, in a controversial move, he decided to challenge the public with a social experiment.

The man in question is Coby Persin, and the 22-year-old is a bona fide social media sensation. His YouTube channel, for instance, is an exceedingly popular one; to date, the videos he has uploaded there have been viewed over 600 million times, in fact.

Moreover, many of the clips posted to Persin’s channel show him conducting pranks and social experiments on the public. But while his stunts typically attract a lot of attention, there was one project in particular that stood out by going viral after it was uploaded in February 2016.
