Angelina Jolie wears many hats, from being an Academy Award-winning actress to a humanitarian to a filmmaker. But she’s also a mom to six children – three adopted from countries around the world. And she took all of them on an epic trip in early 2018.
Angelina Jolie’s path to fame was paved by her parents, Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand, both of whom were actors. In fact, Jolie has said that she had become inspired to act after watching her mother’s movies as a child. By the time she was 11, Jolie had enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in West Hollywood, California.
By 1997 Jolie had her breakthrough performance in a made-for-TV movie, George Wallace. She played the headlining character’s second wife, Cornelia. Consequently, she earned a Golden Globe award in 1998 for her supporting role.
