As pretty much any parent will tell you, child-rearing isn’t easy. And if you’re a mom or dad in the public eye, you’ll also likely have to deal with considerable scrutiny over the way in which you’re raising your kids.
That’s certainly been the case with Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, who found themselves sparking controversy after Fox posted an seemingly innocuous photo of her son Noah on Instagram. But Green has since used the media spotlight to give his side of the story – and it may just get some critics to reconsider their opinions.
Green and Fox are no strangers to controversy, though; they even raised a few eyebrows when they got together. That’s because, as the pair began dating, Fox was only 18; Green, by contrast, was 30. They had first met in 2004 on the set of the sitcom Hope & Faith, in which Fox played Kelly Ripa’s on-screen daughter.
And not only was Green considerably older than Fox, but he also had a young son. Despite his very obvious attractiveness, then, he may not have seemed to some like a good long-term partner for a teenage actress just starting out in Hollywood. Nonetheless, the relationship flourished, and in November 2006 the couple got engaged.
