18. Jaycee Chan, son of Jackie Chan

Jaycee Chan, the son of beloved martial-arts movie star Jackie, served six months in prison in 2014 after being caught in possession of drugs. Chan junior was found with an illegal substance in a Beijing foot massage parlor during a police raid; to make things even worse, cops also found more than three and a half ounces of marijuana at his home. However, Jaycee made a public apology following his release in early 2015.

17. Stephanie Rose Bon Jovi, daughter of Jon Bon Jovi

Stephanie Rose Bon Jovi was arrested in uptown New York for heroin possession in 2012 – and that came as it did after she was admitted to hospital during an overdose. Fortunately, though, no lasting damage was done and the charges against her were subsequently dropped. Speaking to British newspaper the Daily Mirror in 2013, meanwhile, her father Jon described the moment his daughter rang him to break the awful news as his “worst moment as a father.”

16. Redmond O’Neal, son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal

Redmond O’Neal was arrested for possession of firearms and also illegal substances in 2011. And, unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time he had been in trouble with the law, either. In fact, that apprehension came after a string of offenses that began in 2008, when the son of actress Farrah Fawcett and actor Ryan O’Neal was first imprisoned for heroin possession. Not that he seems to have learned his lesson, though: Redmond has violated his parole four times since and in 2014 was caught with heroin and firearms again. This last arrest resulted, perhaps inevitably, in a custodial sentence.
