Clint Eastwood Has Revealed A Heartwrenching Story That He Kept Quiet For Over 60 Years

Long before he got into acting, Eastwood was drafted to serve as a swimming instructor in the U.S. Army back in 1950. It coincided with the war in Korea. A 21-year-old Eastwood stepped up for the good of his country just after coming out of high school.

He was stationed at Ft. Ord in California – an army post that has been closed since 1994. To make ends meet, he would serve during the day while working nights as a bouncer. However, one journey during his service almost turned fatal for the seasoned actor.
