Jennifer Aniston arguably hasn’t been out of the headlines since at least the mid-’90s. Indeed, it seems that the tabloids simply can’t get enough of dissecting her love life. So whether it’s the alleged love triangle between herself, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or her more recent separation from husband Justin Theroux, the newspapers apparently always have to put in their two cents. But now Aniston has hit back about the often inaccurate stories that people write about her.
Of course, Aniston shot to fame in the 1990s on the sitcom Friends, which made her one of the highest paid women on television at the time. And while the show was still going on, she also became one half of Tinsel Town’s biggest super couple. Yes, in 1998 she began dating A-list actor Brad Pitt after their agents introduced them.
And soon it seemed that the world devoured every scrap of news about Aniston and Pitt’s romance. When they got engaged in 1999, for instance, the couple appeared onstage at a Sting concert to show off their rings to much applause. Then when the pair had their wedding ceremony in July 2000, the media went absolutely wild. After all, the big day took place in Malibu and was every bit as lavish as had been expected.
