Yet the whole affair seemed to embolden her, and Lawrence became still more vocal on feminist issues. In October 2015, for instance, she wrote a piece expressing how angry she was to discover she was being paid less than her male co-stars. And typically, its tone pulled no punches; in Lawrence’s own words, she was “over trying to find the adorable way to state [her] opinion.”
