60. He rarely uses Force Lightning for a reason
Contrary to popular belief, Vader does have experience with the power known as Force Lightning. He just chooses not to use it – and for good reason, too. That’s because while the villain’s iconic black suit may appear protective, it’s actually sensitive to both exterior forces and electric energy. Therefore, whenever Vader attempts to use Force Lightning, he becomes weaker himself as a result.
59. His armor is merely a life-support system
So, it turns out that Vader’s suit of armor isn’t anywhere near as indestructible and imposing as it may be perceived. In fact, he likely wouldn’t be wearing it at all if it didn’t keep him alive.
