The story was written by a trio of authors: Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee and Shane Morris. Lee also penned the screenplay, and together with Buck she directed the movie, too. The film was produced by Peter Del Vecho, and its iconic songs were written by husband-and-wife team Robert and Kristen Lopez. But even after the production had hit theaters, its creators still had plenty to say. “Hello reddit! We are the team behind FROZEN. THANK YOU for all of your support!” they wrote. “Elsa was a lot darker for much of the movie until Bobby & Kristen wrote “Let It Go.” She even had dark, spikey hair and was colored blue,” Buck and Lee answered. “Anna went from a ‘somebody rescue me’ girl to a fearless, feisty girl – from a sarcastic to optimistic place.” And that was far from the only character insight they revealed to their Frozen fans.
