Bring It On was once described by famed film critic Roger Ebert as “the Citizen Kane of cheerleading movies.” A high accolade indeed. The film’s winning script, endearing characters and expertly choreographed cheer routines saw it become a cult classic, and also saw some of its stars go on to even bigger things. 10. Kirsten Dunst (Torrance Shipman)

Kirsten Dunst shot to fame as a child after her breakthrough role in Interview With the Vampire. However, it was her teenage performance as Torrance in Bring It On that made reviewers sit up and take notice of her comic talents.

These days, Dunst is a bona fide A-lister. After playing Mary Jane in the original Spider-Man movies a few years after Bring It On, in fact, her star grew and grew. Now with multiple awards under her belt, she’s found success in her love life, too: in early 2017 Dunst got engaged to fellow actor Jesse Plemons.
