It is a reference to one of the studio’s first projects, the Academy Award-nominated animation Luxor Jr. The main character in that film serves as the energetic light source featured in the studio’s memorable logo.
14. Tristar – The Special Effects
We know the equestrian reason why the winged horse was chosen for the Tristar logo, but how was it created? Well it was actually a combination of CGI feathers for the wings and real-life footage of a white stallion for other movement, shot at a Santa Monica airfield.
