The second LP from English glam rockers Queen here has its well-known Mick Rock-photographed cover taken over by four loveable kittens, who recreate the band’s famous pose. The Freddie Mercury imitator at the front even strikes the cross-armed pose of the late showman. Mercury would surely have approved, but given the guitar slinger’s curly mop of hair, we can’t help thinking that Brian May would have been better portrayed as a poodle.

Simon & Garfunkel-Bridge Over Trouble Water

Folk rock’s big cats Simon and Garfunkel released the massive-selling album Bridge over Troubled Water in 1970. This masterful recreation of its cover shows, at the front, a scarfed white kitten replacing Paul Simon, while the ginger feline to the rear somewhat replicates Art Garfunkel’s legendary ’fro.
