In the music industry, there are a number of artists who have been labeled as legends for their work. Stevie Nicks is one such individual, building up a loyal fan base after over half a century in the business. However, during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in February 2019, the rock star made an interesting revelation about her clothes collection.
Nicks was born in May 1948 and grew up alongside her parents and younger brother, Christopher. The future star’s dad plied his trade as a corporate executive, while her mother tended to their home in Phoenix, Arizona. As a result of the former’s job, though, the family soon found themselves on the road, moving from state to state.
Following a number of different moves, Nicks and her family finally settled in Los Angeles, California, in the early 1960s. And after becoming a student at the local high school, she then joined a band named Changing Times. Indeed, the Arizona native had already shown a real interest in music thanks, in part, to her granddad.
