Meghan Markle has always been a fashion icon, but since her pregnancy was announced there’s been even more interest in her sartorial choices. Indeed, her maternity wear has sparked a whole new wave of the “Meghan Effect.” Here are 40 of the best outfits that she wore while carrying her and Harry’s child.
40. Victoria Beckham ensemble for the Commonwealth Service
Meghan wore designs by her friend Victoria Beckham for the March 2019 Commonwealth Service in London. She arrived at Westminster Abbey in a white midi dress with a chainlink pattern – perhaps a nod to the theme of the day, A Connected Commonwealth – and a matching coat. A pillbox hat completed the look and added some classy Jackie O vibes.
39. Erdem at Canada House
Meghan wore two stunning outfits for Commonwealth Day in London. During a stop at Canada House with her husband, the Duchess made sure to showcase a Canadian designer, Erdem Moralıoğlu. The dark green coat dress looked lovely on her, and touchingly featured a nod to her mother, Doria. The appliqué on it is known as “Doria beaded rose embroidery.”
