For better or for worse, the MTV reality show Jersey Shore was a complete game-changer – not least because it made the likes of Snooki, JWoww and The Situation household names. And who could forget the time Snooki put her inflamed derriere into a refrigerator? Or the time The Situation accidentally knocked himself out when banging his own head against a wall?
For a while, in fact, it seemed as if their fist-pumping antics were about to take over the world. But, eventually, America lost interest in all the drinking and puking and smushing, and the show faded away. So whatever became of the ten fabled Shore stars – only a handful of whom were actually even from New Jersey?
10. Pauly D
Pauly D was known for his smooth ways with women and his talent behind the DJ deck. His rallying cry of “T-shirt time,” meanwhile, meant that it was time to don your finest Ed Hardy and hit the town.
Today, Pauly D is still DJing, and he does so all over the world – albeit with a shorter hairstyle. Plus, he’s buds with Niall and Zayn from One Direction!
