Wilson brought in a workforce of 35, who began carefully unearthing the remains of the creature that Tufts and Love had discovered. And over the course of a year’s hard work, they were able to confirm what the two men had suspected.
“It just looked how we’d been told that bones from a big predatory dinosaur like a T. rex looks,” Love told The Seattle Times. And, indeed, he was right. The pair had discovered the skeleton of one of the most fearsome dinosaurs to ever walk the Earth.
