Former Baltimore Ravens star Jamal Lewis found himself in hot water with the very bank that sponsored his team’s stadium. Yes, the ex-running back was taken to court by M&T in 2012 after defaulting on a major loan. It was later reported that he was nearly $11 million in debt.

17. Keith McCants

Keith McCants once signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers worth $7.4 million. Nonetheless, by 2011 he was living on just his $1,110 a month disability allowance.
