A new photo company is offering passport photos using only the web in an effort to cut down on carbon emissions.
E-photoframes recently released its virtual photo booth. Although there are similar products, such as Apple’s virtual photo booth, e-photoframes is unique in requiring only a flat screen and Internet Explorer 8 for users to create passport photos.
Managing Director Richard Rhodes said:
“Everyone needs passport photographs at some time. Having to visit your local photo booth or digital camera shop not only wastes time and money, but also generates a wasted car journey and resulting C02 emissions”.
Although the technology has not been perfected, early reviews are positive. You can try the virtual booth for free simply clicking virtual photobooth
