With a close resemblance to her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, the baby in question is in fact the surprise-album dropping, 20-time Grammy-winning alter-ego of Sasha Fierce. The utterly flawless Beyoncé, of course.

This ’90s baby was launched to fame a little over a decade after this photo was taken. His behavior while growing up in the public eye, however, was in stark contrast to the blonde cherub pictured here.

But one-time brat Justin Bieber is now something of a reformed character, having since apologized for his actions in 2015’s “Sorry.” The record, which sold more than half a million copies in its debut week, propelled him to pop superstardom.

That baby with the Mickey Mouse toy is once-promising-Disney actress Lindsay Lohan, whose career hasn’t been without controversy. Her relationship with her mom Dina remains strained – in 2015 Lindsay threatened to sue her for selling her possessions.

This baby girl’s surname would have only been familiar to those immersed in the world of Los Angeles law at the time the picture was taken. Now it’s one of the most famous, and most divisive, in the universe.

Kim Kardashian, the second-eldest daughter of the late respected lawyer Robert, has spent the last decade living her life in front of the camera as the queen of trashy reality shows, selfies and breaking the internet.

This brooding baby grew up with intentions of becoming a professional soccer player. But after injury dashed his sporting ambitions he would go on to find fame and fortune as one of cinema’s hunkiest stars.

Assassins, Desperado and The Mask of Zorro are some of the movies that have helped Antonio Banderas to become the thinking woman’s action hero. In April 2016, in fact, the U.K.’s Glamour magazine named him the “Sexiest Actor Alive.”

This wide-eyed little girl also emerged from a Spanish-speaking country to take the movie world by storm. And despite a name that means “peace” in Arabic, she hasn’t been averse to the odd spot of gun-wielding on screen.

Mexico’s finest Salma Hayek first won attention in various telenovelas before stealing the show in action flicks Desperado and Wild Wild West. She went on to win acclaim for her performance as Frida Kahlo in the biopic of the famously thick-browed artist.

This black-and-white photo looks like a relic from the 1950s. It was, however, taken during the mid ’90s, an era that’s informed much of this young pop diva’s chart-topping sound.

The retro-looking picture is actually of contemporary pop starlet Ariana Grande. The vocalist, who’s been compared to Mariah Carey, has since become as famous for licking donuts as topping the charts.

The toddler in the highchair is none other than James Franco. The older brother of fellow actor Dave has since become renowned for his prolific and increasingly outlandish output – and for nearly falling asleep while hosting the Oscars.

The Academy Awards has also played a significant part in the career of this finger-eating blond boy. But in his case it was his failure to win one that had everyone talking.

Leonardo DiCaprio did finally scoop a coveted golden statue – at the sixth time of asking – in 2016 for his performance in The Revenant. The win consolidated his status as one of the finest actors of his generation.

This cute little sailor boy would go on to find fame at an early age. He’d also attract an army of female followers, but his wearing of a purity ring signaled that he wasn’t interested in giving into temptation. Until it was removed, of course.

Following the split of Disney Channel favorites Jonas Brothers Nick Jonas appeared to spend a whole year in various stages of undress – a tactic that clearly worked when his self-titled solo album scored chart success.

This Throwback Thursday photo also hints at this girl’s future career. The South American sitcom star has become an American family favorite by playing a character renowned for her sharp tongue.

She is, of course, Sofía Vergara, the Colombian actress famous for playing Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in hit comedy Modern Family. She’s gone on to receive multiple nominations at both the Emmys and Golden Globes.

You’ll have to go a long way to find a happier looking baby destined to become a celebrity. The wild afro may now be a thing of the past but that cheeky face is still very much a feature.

Who could predict that the big-haired baby would go on to become the natural successor to Michael Jackson? That’s right – the little one with the not-so-little grin would later grow into pop sensation Usher.
