Lori Loughlin’s Daughters Are Now Adults, And They Look Just Like The Full House Star

Best known for her role as Aunt Becky in the ABC sitcom Full House, 53-year-old actress Lori Loughlin has had a successful run since the early 1980s. With her eye-catching looks, a likeable persona, and her fully realized character portrayals – Loughlin was a hot TV commodity. But it now looks like her two grown-up daughters are ready to take up the reins of stardom. The two young adults are making names for themselves in their own right, with their talented mother for support. However, one thing that the sisters definitely have in common with Loughlin is their striking looks…

As someone who got bitten by the performance bug at just 11 years old, New York actress Lori Loughlin was always determined. She seemed destined to reach her goal through perseverance alone. But it wasn’t just her drive for success that pushed her into the limelight, she had the performing chops to back it up too.

Nevertheless, she didn’t wait for anything to be handed to her, but rather seized the opportunities and ran with them. In 1980, at the tender age of 15, Loughlin was cast in the popular television soap opera The Edge of Night. Her TV work continued in other projects, such as Matt Houston and The Equalizer, and she even gained some exposure on the big screen.

But Loughlin’s big break came in 1988 when she landed a prominent role on Full House. Starring alongside John Stamos and Bob Saget, Loughlin would find herself enjoying a seven-year-long run on the hit television show. Not bad for a relativey unknown actress portraying a character that was initially only penned in for six episodes.

Loughlin earned high praise for her performance as Rebecca Donaldson – Aunt Becky – which is still her most well-known part. While Full House has taken a rather harsh beating by the critics in recent years, Loughlin’s sarcastic characterization stands out as one of the show’s highlights.

Full House came to a full stop after eight seasons in 1995, and Loughlin swiftly moved on with a brief role in another ABC show, Hudson Street, with actor Tony Danza. However, the program was cancelled after just one season. From that point onwards, Loughlin would appear in television movies and pop up in one-off parts for shows.

But it was during the 1990s that the actress became much more family orientated. After a failed marriage to investment banker Michael Burns, Loughlin married Californian fashion designer Mossimo Gianulli, now 54, in 1997. This was the man whom she would go on to have two daughters with.

Speaking about her decision to focus on family life to People magazine in 2015, Loughlin said, “Once I decided to have a family, I said that would be my priority. Life goes by so fast.” Balancing a career in Hollywood as well as a life as a mother seems to have been a difficult, yet rewarding experience for Loughlin.

Nevertheless, she insists she isn’t bringing her two daughters up to be spoiled, despite her celebrity status. In the same interview, Loughlin said, “I’d like to think I’m somewhat their friend, but more importantly, I am their mother and a guiding force,” before adding, “I am strict with my girls.”

It seems that Loughlin’s hard-line approach to parenting is working. Both daughters – Isabella Rose Giannulli, 18, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 17 – want to pursue their own passions in life on their own terms. At just 15, Olivia set up her very own YouTube channel, where she disseminates information and opinions on beauty and make-up.

When they were younger, the two daughters certainly shared some similarities in the looks department to their famous mum. Their similar facial structures were always noticeable, but who could’ve predicted just how much they would grow to look like the Full House star?

Yes, Isabella and Olivia are all grown up now, and they share a striking resemblance to their still youthful mother. Loughlin’s Instagram account is usually covered with shots of her and her two offspring, and the likeness between them is gobsmackingly uncanny.

In the last couple of years in particular, Loughlin has been seen attending awards ceremonies and television events with the two girls – and it is plain to see they are family. Isabella in particular looks like her mother’s double, with long blonde locks, big brown eyes, and a radiant smile.

Olivia, on the other hand, has a lot of the same looks as her mother but with dark hair and blue eyes. Regardless, there is no way anyone could mistake either of the girls for anyone’s but Loughlin’s – although there’s a bit of their father in there too.

Isabella and Olivia look just like their mother did when she appeared in Full House as Aunt Becky, and that’s as big a compliment as most could hope for. However, they are not just following in their mother’s footsteps aesthetically, but professionally too…

Not only do both girls look like Loughlin, but they are also taking acting classes. Who knows, perhaps one day the pair will reach the heady heights of their mother’s career. Isabella has even starred alongside Loughlin in the 2016 made-for-TV Hallmark film Every Christmas Has A Story.

And, following up on her successful online channel, Olivia wishes one day to have her very own beauty business. She told Teen Vogue magazine in 2016, “It’s a dream of mine to launch a beauty or skin care company one day.” With a following of more than a million people on YouTube, that dream could easily become a reality.

Olivia credits Loughlin’s line of work for sparking her interest in the field of make-up and cosmetics. “What initially got me into this was watching our mom get her makeup done for events,” she told Teen Vogue. “It’s pretty special that as a kid I got to learn proper techniques from watching professionals.”

One thing that the two sisters have in common is their love of fashion. Isabella even has her own blog, where she issues fashion tips to her devoted fan base. And with an Instagram following of more than 100,000 people, it would seem she’s doing something right.

As of today, Isabella and Olivia are becoming more prominent in the public eye. This development is thanks to both their talented mum and their own niche expertise in the entertainment world. The Gianulli sisters even served as the award presenters at the Teen Choice Awards in August 2017.

Lori Loughlin made a name for herself, and it seems her doppelganger daughters share similar ambitions. But the other thing all three seem to have in common – in addition to their incredible looks – is a deep love for one another.
