It’s been over 20 years since Princess Diana died in a car accident, leaving her two young sons behind. But while the world has progressed since that time, Diana nevertheless lives on in the minds of many. In fact, it turns out that she may literally live on in the minds of two sisters from California. They claim that not only has Diana spoken through them, but she’s also left a message specifically for Prince Harry’s bride-to-be, Meghan Markle.
The individuals in question are Linda and Terry Jamison, who call themselves the “Psychic Twins.” They’ve been in the supernatural business for quite some time now, with arguably their greatest claim to fame having been reportedly predicting the 9/11 terrorist attacks. But, perhaps inevitably, they’re not without their critics.
There’s been skepticism about the accuracy of that 9/11 “prediction,” for one. The twins made that claim on the Art Bell Coast to Coast AM radio show in 1999; transcripts of the interview, however, show just how precise they were. “We are seeing terrorist attacks on Federal Government, excuse me, federal buildings,” the sisters said. “Particularly South Carolina or Georgia, by July 2002 and also the New York Trade Center, the World Trade Center in 2002.” So, their prediction was close but seems not to have been perfect.
Then, while appearing on the Australian show Sunrise in 2011, the twins claimed to use “automatic writing” to access “multiple dimensions of knowledge” and to converse with ghosts. Perhaps they had better honed their techniques in order to contact the spirit world, then.
Indeed, they made several predictions in the Sunrise interview, and some of what they said would eventually come true. They claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton would have at least two children, including a boy and a girl. And William and Kate did in fact have a boy followed by a girl. But they also claimed that the children would be born within two years of 2011: the royal babies, as it happens, were actually born in 2013 and 2015.
In 2017, though, it seemed as if Linda and Terry had stumbled upon something huge. Several times that year, in fact, they claimed to have been visited by the spirit of Princess Diana, the late mother of Prince William and Prince Harry and the ex-wife of Prince Charles. The Psychic Twins’ alleged findings from those sessions would first appear in the Daily Star in July 2017.
There, the twins said, Diana actually had nice things to say about her ex-husband’s wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles. Even though Charles had romanced Camilla while still married to Diana, the princess apparently told them that she wished both Charles and Camilla happiness. Then, however, the late royal is said to have become rather philosophical. She allegedly remarked, “We were all like players on a stage. At times, there is a darker purpose that is meant to unfold for reasons we cannot consciously know.”
In addition, the twins claimed that they had questioned Diana about whether her death was an accident – and she had replied in the negative. The princess had spoken through them, they said, and she had alleged that her death was a “very involved conspiracy.” Diana reportedly even pointed the finger at the driver of her car, Henri Paul, stressing that he had played a critical part in her death.
Of course, conspiracy theories about how Diana died are nothing new. Mohamed Al-Fayed – the father of Diana’s boyfriend and fellow crash victim Dodi Al-Fayed – has even gone on record to say that he believes that the pair were murdered. The princess’ death was eventually ruled an “unlawful killing” on the part of Henri Paul and the paparazzi who had been chasing the car at the time, however.
Even after the Psychic Twins’ claims were published, though, it seemed that they had more to tell. Indeed, in December 2017 – not long after Prince Harry had announced his engagement to American actress Meghan Markle – Linda and Terry told the Daily Star that they had yet more information from Diana.
The sisters claimed, in fact, that Diana had remarked, “Harry has become such a wonderful man, and Meghan is just the right partner for him. She is a truly lovely young lady and very well suited for him and her royal role.” Diana had then apparently spoken directly to Meghan, saying, “Meghan, you are very brave to take on this role. I am here for you to call on for guidance if need be.”
And Diana apparently continued, “Don’t let the harsh rules of the monarchy crush you. Stand up to oppression. It is a very modern monarchy now, quite different from the one I experienced and struggled so much to navigate. There will be mountains to scale and scrutiny of your every move. But I feel your love for each other will see you through difficulties.” Heart-warming words, indeed.
But that seemingly wasn’t the end of Diana’s communications. Indeed, in late 2017 the Psychic Twins reported that the princess was speaking to Meghan through them yet again. This time, however, she seemed to have something more alarming to relate to her son’s future bride.
“Harry may struggle with monogamy,” Diana apparently said. And the idea that Harry may not make ideal marriage material isn’t necessarily a new one. After all, during his younger years, Harry was dubbed “the party prince,” with his exploits being fodder for British tabloids. In 2012 the young royal was even revealed to have played a game of strip billiards in Las Vegas following a wild night of drinking.
And of course, Diana and Charles had both been unfaithful to each other. Charles continued a relationship with Camilla Parker-Bowles during his marriage, for example, while Diana, in turn, found comfort in the arms of other men. The most well-known of her lovers was James Hewitt, William and Harry’s riding teacher.
And yet Harry and Meghan’s relationship seems to be a world away from that of the prince’s parents. When Charles and Diana spoke to the media after publicly announcing their engagement, for instance, they appeared awkward and stiff. And at one point, when Charles was asked by a journalist if the couple were in love, he infamously answered, “Whatever ‘in love’ means.”
When Harry and Meghan sat for a similar interview when they announced their engagement, though, it was a far less formal occasion, with the couple displaying clear affection for each other. There, the pair made jokes, held hands and talked freely about how they had originally fallen in love.
And despite Harry’s apparent wild streak, he hasn’t actually been unfaithful to any of his girlfriends, as far as the public knows – and the media would likely have revealed that information if he had. So while it’s not known whether Meghan believes in psychics, she may not be concerned about Harry cheating anyway.
The Psychic Twins themselves, however, are continuing to make predictions for 2018. They have said, for instance, that they see “a major cyber crisis coming [that] the U.S. is not prepared for” as well as “numerous government and political scandals involving President Trump.” They’ve so far revealed nothing about the royal wedding, though.
Harry and Meghan’s wedding, meanwhile, is set for May 19, 2018. It’ll be one of the biggest events of the year, with millions likely to watch the celebrations on TV. All of Harry’s close family will of course be attending, too. One thing’s almost certain, though: the Psychic Twins probably won’t be there.
