The $28 million that one anonymous buyer spent on a Floridian home may seem an extortionate amount. But the property, previously owned by superstar Céline Dion, is so incredible that you’ll soon believe the new owner bagged an absolute bargain. Here’s a look at why the waterpark mansion is worth the cash.
Born in Charlemagne, Quebec, in 1968, Céline Dion first began singing at a piano bar owned by her large family. She then released her first album aged just 13. And her career continued apace – so that by the time she won the Eurovision Song Contest for Switzerland in 1988, she’d released a further seven LPs. Dion subsequently made her English-language breakthrough in 1990 with the platinum album Unison.
