Just like it is now, back in the days of Old Hollywood, a celebrity child was big news. Of course, all those children born to the megastars of yesterday are now adults themselves and are carrying on the legacies of their famous parents – whatever those legacies might be. 20. Audrey Hepburn’s son, Sean
“I suppose people could blame me for ending Audrey Hepburn’s career,” Sean Hepburn Ferrer told the The Telegraph in 2014. And indeed, after his 1960 birth, the iconic actress devoted herself to motherhood and put her career on hold. Now, 57-year-old Sean honors his mother’s legacy with the non-profit UNICEF Audrey Hepburn Society.

The now 47-year-old Luca Dotti was born in 1970, the child of Hepburn and her second husband, Andrea Dotti. Unfortunately, although he had a happy childhood, as an adult he began feuding with his half-brother, Sean. In 2015 the pair began a legal fight over items their mother had left them.

Julie Andrews’ writer daughter Emma Walton was born in 1962, just a few years before her mother divorced her father Tony Walton and remarried. Now, she’s 54, married to director/actor Stephen Hamilton, and has two children of her own.

Todd Fisher was born to Hollywood legends Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher in 1958 and had a childhood spent in and around Hollywood. But 2016 was a terrible year for the 59-year-old actor, director and producer: both his mother and his sister, Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher, died within days of each other.

The life of John Clark Gable, son of Kay Williams and legendary film actor Clark Gable, hasn’t always been easy. The 56-year-old actor, born in 1961, four months after his father’s death, has been twice-divorced, suffered losing a girlfriend in 2012, and was arrested for a DUI in 2013.

The full title of 67-year-old Yasmin Aga Khan is Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, and she boasts some good genes, although they didn’t lead to happiness. After her birth in 1949, her parents Rita Hayworth and Prince Aly Kahn had a bitter falling out. And in 2011, she sadly lost her only son, Andrew.

Cary Grant’s daughter Jennifer was born in 1966, but her parents split just two years later. Her mother, Dyan Cannon, has revealed mixed feelings about Grant over the years. But Jennifer, now a 51-year-old actress famous for Beverly Hills 90210, doesn’t share them.

Christina Crawford, 78, is almost as famous as her mother, although not for the same reasons. Crawford was born in 1939 to a pair of unmarried teenagers, adopted out to Joan Crawford, and, as she alleges in the book Mommie Dearest, abused by her. She’s still making documentaries about her childhood.

Although his sister Caroline was born in 1957 and he in 1958, owing to the laws of succession, it was Albert who actually took the throne of Monaco. Grace Kelly’s 59-old-year son is now the Principality of Monaco’s reigning monarch and one of the richest royals in the world.

Nell Newman was born in 1959 to actors Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. At first she tried to follow in their footsteps by becoming a child actress, but she ended up turning her back on Hollywood. Now, the 58-year-old is an environmentalist and founder of the organic food group Newman’s Own Organics.

Charlie Chaplin seems like he existed so long ago that it’s almost hard to imagine he has a living daughter! But he does. Her name is Geraldine, she was born in 1944, and she’s an actress. In fact, even though she’s now 72, she’s still an actress. Indeed, she’ll appear in the Jurassic World sequel!

Anthony Shaw, born 1952, was the first child of Angela Lansbury and Peter Shaw. Despite having a rough adolescence that involved drugs, he got back on his feet and turned to directing. He’s now 65 and has several episodes of his mom’s show Murder, She Wrote under his belt.
