20. Eric and Ivanka didn’t vote for their father in the 2016 presidential primaries

How’s this for awkward? In the New York primaries Donald Trump lost out on a couple of surefire voters in the shape of two of his own children. Both Eric and Ivanka – who were previously registered in the Big Apple with no party affiliation – failed to change their alliances to Republican in time and therefore couldn’t cast their votes.

19. Barron is a bit of a linguist

Donald Trump may have trouble grasping his native language sometimes, but his son Barron was already fluent in Slovenian by the age of just nine. He must get his linguistic skills from his mom Melania, who hails from the former Yugoslav country and also speaks English, French, Italian and German.

16. Eric is a celebrated philanthropist

In 2013 Eric was named as one of the 20 most important young philanthropists by the New York Observer – a paper which, however, just happens to be published by his brother-in-law Jared Kushner. Cynicism aside, though, Eric has no doubt done a lot of good through his eponymous foundation, which fundraises for the seriously ill kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

14. Barron has plenty of room for his toys

While most nine-year-old kids are more than content with just their own rooms, Trump’s youngest son Barron has a whole penthouse floor to call his own. As for what exactly is in there – well, Melania divulged to Parenting magazine in 2015 that her little boy has spruced up the space with airplanes and helicopter-themed decor. He also often retreats to his mammoth part of the Trump abode with mom to play with Legos or get constructing with Magna-Tiles.

The pair tied the knot at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, in November the following year.

Tiffany and her friends – who include moneyed socialites like Kyra Kennedy, Peter Brant Jr. and Gaia Matisse – were given the label by The New York Times owing to their obsession with posting photos on social media of their glitzy nights out on the tiles.

6. Donald Jr. was made to earn his allowance

He may be the son of one of America’s wealthiest men – and, certainly, he’s admitted to having been somewhat overindulged as a youngster – but Donald Jr. has also claimed that he was nevertheless raised to appreciate the value of money. To that end, Don was, as a 13-year-old, forced to earn his keep by working as a dock attendant at Atlantic City’s Trump Castle.

A long-time fan of soapy drama Gossip Girl, Ivanka got the chance to rub shoulders with some of its cast members in 2010 when she and husband Jared made cameos in a fourth season episode.
