40 Stars Who Couldn't Help But Show Their Love On The Red Carpet

Red carpet events are a lot of fun. You get to see celebrities showing off their jewelry and dresses — and sometimes they come to show off a relationship as well. These are the celebrities who couldn’t resist a PDA at parties and premieres, and sometimes they downright couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

40. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman

If you watched Tom Cruise on The Oprah Winfrey Show back in 2005, you’ll know his thoughts on public displays of affection. He’s, uh, pro. So this picture of Cruise and his second wife, Nicole Kidman, getting close on the red carpet at the 2000 Academy Awards should come as no surprise.

39. Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio

The marriage between Monroe and DiMaggio was very short-lived. They wed early in 1954 and divorced less than a year later. And when they split up, it didn’t seem particularly amicable. Yet this picture from the red carpet, snapped after the divorce, certainly suggests that DiMaggio was still in love with her.

38. Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost

There’s nothing like the excitement of a blockbuster movie to get stars kissing on the red carpet. Here’s Avengers star Scarlett Johansson locking lips with her boyfriend Colin Jost at the premiere of Infinity War in 2018. Two years later they got married, and in 2021 the couple welcomed their first child into the world.

37. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen

Everyone went “aww” when this cute moment happened at the 2016 Academy Awards. As model Chrissy Teigen navigated the red carpet in a dazzling Marchesa dress, her husband John Legend bent down to adjust the long train. And then he did it a few more times, too! Adorable.

36. Beyoncé and Jay Z

Global superstars Beyoncé and Jay Z often present a certain sophistication for the camera, so it’s nice to see them just having fun together in an unguarded moment. This picture was snapped at the 2014 Met Gala, two years after the well-dressed couple had their first daughter, Blue Ivy.

35. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom

Are Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom actually married? We just don’t know. They have a child together, and in March 2021 Perry was spotted with a ring on her finger that looked very much like a wedding ring. Well, whether they are or not, they look at each other like a husband and wife would.

34. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Lively and Reynolds are one of the internet’s favorite celebrity couples, and it isn’t hard to see why. They always look so happy and like they’re having tons of fun together. This shot of them from the Free Guy premiere in 2021 is one of the photographs that prove it.

33. Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams, 2005

Here are Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams getting very close to each other indeed at the Brokeback Mountain premiere in 2005. The two fell in love while working on that film, and when this photo was snapped their daughter Matilda was two months old. Sadly, Ledger passed away in 2008 and never got to see her grow up.

32. Kirsten Dunst and Jake Gyllenhaal

Kirsten Dunst and Jake Gyllenhaal dated from 2002 to 2004, even moving in together at one point. Apparently, they were very prone to PDA — a little too prone by some accounts, if you get what we’re saying. This pic from the premiere of The Day After Tomorrow would’ve come at the tail end of the relationship, but they were still kissing in public.

31. Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward

There’s a famous quote attributed to Paul Newman. Reportedly, when asked if he would ever stray from his wife Joanne Woodward, Newman answered, “Why go out for hamburgers when I have steak at home?” And looking at this adorable picture of them at the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid premiere, you can see why he might have said that.

30. Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego

The annual Met Gala is a time for wacky outfits, complex hairstyles, big jewelry… and celebrity PDA. In 2016 Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana attended with her husband Macro Perego, and while walking the red carpet they stopped to kiss in front of all the cameras.

29. George and Amal Clooney

George and Amal Clooney are surely one of the biggest super-couples of all time. He’s a Hollywood megastar with countless hits under his belt, and she’s a very successful human-rights lawyer. Here, they’re attending the red carpet premiere of a 2021 movie called, appropriately, The Tender Bar.

28. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston

Yes, we all know how this one ended. But before Pitt ditched his first wife to find love in the arms of Angelina Jolie, he and Aniston were an adorable couple. At the premiere of The Mexican in 2001 they were positively snuggling up to each other. Why’d you do it, Brad, why?!

27. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone fell in love while filming the first Amazing Spider-Man movie, and by the time the premiere rolled around they were a beloved celebrity couple. How could they not be when they were just so cute together? Though they separated in 2015 to the devastation of fans everywhere, the pair are still on good terms.

26. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn

Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have been together for what seems like forever, but they’ve never married. And they don’t plan to — it’s simply not what they want. But, as their red carpet appearances so often show, they’re as close as any married couple, regardless of what pieces of paper they’ve signed.

25. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

Ellen DeGeneres has been married to actress Portia de Rossi since 2008. And in 2019 Ellen said of her wife to David Letterman, “She’s fantastic, she’s very, very funny. She makes me laugh, which is really important.” And this photo from the 2020 Golden Globes shows Portia doing just that.

24. Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner

Sinatra and Gardner were a pretty scandalous pair. He was married with kids when he first started seeing Gardner in the late 1940s, while Gardner was the wife of Mickey Rooney and already had a headline-grabbing private life. So perhaps it isn’t surprising that they aren’t kissing in this photo, even though they were married by then. Still, they’re holding hands pretty tightly.

23. Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland

Believe it or not, but Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland came this close to getting married. They were engaged… but a mere 48 hours ahead of the wedding, Roberts canceled the whole thing. And then, allegedly, she ran off with Sutherland’s best pal. Ouch. This photo was snapped during the premiere for Sleeping With the Enemy in 1991, just before that all went down.

22. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban

Keith Urban won everyone’s hearts at the 2016 Met Gala. Not only did he keep gazing in awe at his wife Nicole Kidman, but at one point he also stopped and kissed her hand. It was very cute. And Nicole’s amazing, space-themed Alexander McQueen dress made the couple look like something out of a fairytale.

21. Ciara and Russell Wilson

After NFL player Russell Wilson and singer Ciara got together, the pair opted to stay abstinent before they married. They discussed it in the press, too. So perhaps people were watching them a little more closely than they otherwise might have been. Whatever their pre-marriage choice was, though, they still weren’t afraid of a little PDA.

20. Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse

Ah, young love. Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse looked like they could potentially be together forever when they got all close during the Five Feet Apart premiere in 2019. But it wasn’t to be. The following year they broke up, shattering the dreams of their many fans.

19. Jude Law and Sienna Miller

Miller and Law were one of the It Couples of the 2000s, and then it all came crashing down. They look so happy here at the 2004 Oscars, but the following year a scandal broke: Law had been cheating on her with their nanny. A devastated Miller tried to keep the relationship going, but eventually, they separated permanently.

18. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones

There’s an age gap of 25 years between Douglas and Zeta-Jones, but they’ve never let the odd raised eyebrow get in the way of their relationship. And despite plenty of ups and downs over the years, these days they seem as happy as they were when this pic was snapped in 2003.

17. Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman

Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway doesn’t speak much about her relationship with husband Adam Shulman. But, judging by this pic of them kissing at the 2014 premiere for Interstellar, they’re probably just as adorable behind closed doors as they are in public.

16. Jayne Mansfield and Mickey Hargitay

Jayne Mansfield never played by the rules. Here she is in 1957, being lifted up by her soon-to-be husband Mickey Hargitay at a premiere and showing off the body that made her such a star. Fun fact: these two are the parents of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress Mariska Hargitay.

15. Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham

Oprah Winfrey vowed never to marry her long-term boyfriend Stedman Graham. She’s even said that getting hitched would’ve led to them splitting up. But they’re still seemingly as close as any of Hollywood’s married couples. This pic shows them in 1998 at the premiere of a movie appropriately called Beloved.

14. Prince William and Kate Middleton

Generally, you won’t see much PDA from Kate Middleton and Prince William. They’re representatives of the Crown, after all, and it wouldn’t be professional. But on the rare occasions when they do get close in public, even if it’s just an arm-touch and a loving gaze, it’s very sweet indeed.

13. Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker gave her husband a cute kiss on the cheek at the It’s Only A Play opening night in 2014. These two may keep their relationship low-key, but they’re one of Hollywood’s most enduring couples — they’ve been together for over 20 years.

12. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Acting super-couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have no qualms whatsoever about PDA. They’ve been spotted canoodling in public all over the place, including on the red carpet. Usually, they’re quite silly with it, but this time, at the annual Breakthrough Prizes in 2017, they were more serious. But still smiling.

11. Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are colorful and adorable here at the 2019 Booksmart premiere. They look so cute, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. Late in 2020, after almost a decade together, they broke up. But according to insiders they’ve remained friends for the sake of their two kids.

10. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

All cameras will be on you if you’re a celeb couple at the Met Gala, so you’d better be giving the people what they want. That’s just what Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen did at the 2019 “Camp: Notes on Fashion” event. Though they’re so lost in each other’s eyes that they probably didn’t even notice the photographers.

9. Anne Bancroft and Mel Brooks

Here’s beloved comedian Mel Brooks in 1967, kissing his wife Anne Bancroft on the red carpet while Jose Quintero looks on. Brooks and Bancroft were together for over four decades in the end, tying the knot in 1964 and remaining close as ever until Bancroft’s passing in 2005.

8. Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine fell and fell hard for Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo when their paths crossed. They met in 2012 and by 2014 they were married. Flash forward to 2020 and they were getting steamy on the red carpet for the annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

7. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have never been at all shy about showing PDA. Smith’s even been caught on camera pinching his wife’s bottom a couple of times, including at the 2015 premiere of his movie Focus. Well, let’s focus on their sweet kiss from the same event, instead.

6. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

Was there ever a Hollywood couple more beloved than Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson? They’ve been together for over 30 years now, proving wrong the idea that no one can have a successful marriage in Hollywood. Needless to say, everyone loves it when they get close on red carpets — like they did here at The Ladykillers premiere in 2004.

5. Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa

Surely one of the best-looking couples in Hollywood — there’s no doubt about it. These two, who got together back in 2005 after Momoa had been a fan of Bonet for years, piled on the PDA while walking the Aquaman red carpet in the winter of 2018. Who’s going to tell them to stop, though?

4. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker

You can’t not expect PDA from the Kardashian family — they live their whole lives on camera. Here we’ve got Travis Barker kissing Kourtney Kardashian at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2021, which was their first stroll along a red carpet as a couple. The following month, Travis popped the question, and Kourtney said yes.

3. Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis

Leigh and Curtis were one of the most celebrated couples of their era, even though their relationship was sometimes turbulent. This moment, at the premiere of The Glenn Miller Story in 1953, is one of their happier ones. Five years later, in an effort to rescue their marriage they had another child — and she grew up to be actress Jamie Lee Curtis.

2. Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton

Before Angelina Jolie settled down to have a family, she was a bit of a wild child. She wed Billy Bob Thornton in 2000, and they constantly made headlines. He was almost two decades older than her for a start, they wore necklaces that contained each other’s blood… and then, of course, there was the frequent PDA.

1. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez

“Bennifer” were the celebrity couple of the 2000s, until suddenly it was all over. Affleck and Lopez split up, moved on and eventually began new marriages. But in 2021 there was renewed hope! The couple, both of them now single, were seen kissing at the The Last Duel premiere in Venice. Could it be?! But stars don’t always go to red-carpet events with their other halves. Sometimes, they’ll take their moms instead — and the photos snapped are just as cute. Wait till you see Keanu with his momma.

Jada Pinkett Smith

Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith evidently has a strong bond with her mom Adrienne Banfield-Norris. Pinkett Smith’s parent has earned praise for her candid conversations on the Facebook Watch viral sensation Red Table Talk, most notably about her heroin addiction. She has also been hailed for her youthful looks and impressive sense of style. Fittingly for the latter then, Pinkett Smith and ‘Gammy’ were spotted enjoying a public date together at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York in September 2014.

Leonardo DiCaprio

He may have dated several of the world’s most beautiful women, but naturally there'll always be a special place in Leonardo DiCaprio’s heart reserved for his mother Irmelin Indenbirken. Indeed, when he won Best Actor at the BAFTAs in 2016, DiCaprio namechecked his mom and gushed that he “would not be standing up here if it wasn’t for this person.” He has famously chosen to bring his mother along as his “date” to a large number of premieres and award ceremonies. In 2014 they shared a special moment together on the Oscars red carpet, along with Bono of U2.

Anna Kendrick

With her witty and often self-effacing quips, Anna Kendrick is widely regarded as the Queen of Twitter. But the Pitch Perfect star has her own icon, in the shape of her accountant mother Janice. In December 2012 the adorable pair were spotted enjoying a shopping trip together in Los Angeles.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest soccer players of all time. A five-time winner of the prestigious Ballon d’Or award, his place in soccer history is assured. Besides being a trophy-winning, goal-scoring machine, Ronaldo is also a loving son who is devoted to his mother Maria Aveiro. The Portuguese star often brings along his only surviving parent to celebrate his many titles in the sport. And 2019 was no different, as Ronaldo posed alongside Maria after winning the Italian league championship with Juventus.

Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper is a momma’s boy, and proud of it. The Hangover star has often taken his mother Gloria Campano to star-studded events with him, and even got her to move into his Los Angeles pad in 2011 so they could heal together after the death of her husband and Bradley’s father Charles. The pair were spotted enjoying an especially warm embrace on the Tony Awards red carpet in 2015.

Jennifer Lawrence

Actress Jennifer Lawrence is adored the world over both for her remarkable acting talent and surprisingly down-to-earth nature. The Hollywood A-Lister is also adorably close to her mom Karen, and has been spotted out in public with her enjoying some quality mother-daughter time. Perhaps most famously, Lawrence gave her mom a warm embrace at the 2013 Oscars when she was announced as the Best Actress winner that year.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson has gone from being a promising child prodigy to being Hollywood’s best paid actress. The Lost In Translation star has seemingly not forgotten her roots though, and maintains a strong bond with her family, including mother Melanie Sloan. So, when Johansson was rewarded with a star on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame in May 2012, her mother (who used to manage her career) was fittingly by her side.

Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck famously rose to Hollywood superstardom in 1997, when Good Will Hunting, the film he wrote alongside his long-time pal Matt Damon, became a critical and commercial sensation. Affleck and Damon – who starred in the film alongside the late Robin Williams – won the Best Screenplay Academy Award at the 1998 Oscars, and both have since gone on to have lucrative careers in film. Affleck took his beloved mom Christine Boldt to the ceremony as his plus-one, and gave an emotional shout out to her when accepting his award. He has enhanced his momma’s boy credentials in the years since, and in October 2019 he was spotted enjoying a stroll with his mom in Los Angeles.

Dave Grohl

Dave Grohl is one of the most popular rock stars in the world. The down-to-earth American has gone to have multi-platinum success with the Foo Fighters, the band he formed after the tragic demise of Nirvana. Grohl’s everyman persona is bolstered by his touching relationship with his mother Virginia. She wrote a book about raising him, and Grohl joined his mom at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books event to promote it; the pair appeared to have a real blast together.

Tom Brady

When Tom Brady helped the New England Patriots pull off a miraculous comeback win in Super Bowl LI it was an emotional night for the star quarterback. Besides the enormity of the overtime win, Brady was emotionally overcome by the presence of his beloved mother Galynn, who had not attended any of the Patriot’s games that season until the Super Bowl due to illness. Mother and son enjoyed a tearful public embrace as Brady cemented his place as a legend of the sport. Two years later, Galynn was also on hand to give Brady a hug after the Super Bowl LIII victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Justin Timberlake

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake is super-tight with his mom Lynn Bomar Harless. The “SexyBack” singer told Rolling Stone magazine in 2003, “We have a very special relationship. She’s been my best friend since I figured out who I wanted to be. You keep searching for somebody as good as your mother, and that’s a losing battle.” So, when the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards came around in August of that year, it was no surprise that Timberlake took his mom to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

David Beckham

David Beckham is one of the most famous soccer players ever. With his striking good looks and trademark bending free-kicks, the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, L.A. Galaxy, A.C. Milan and Paris St. Germain ace became an international star. He may have married the Spice Girls’ Victoria, but Beckham’s mom Sandra has remained one of the most important women in his life. The ex-England international took his mom with him to the 2017 Wimbledon Championships, where they enjoyed the tennis from the royal box.

Beyoncé Knowles

She may have famously declared herself an ‘Independent Woman,’ but pop superstar Beyoncé still leans heavily on her mother Tina. The former Destiny’s Child singer has often been seen out and about with her mom in public. On one such occasion she took her mom along as her guest to the 49th Grammy Awards in February 2007.

Matthew McConaughey

Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey is extremely affectionate when it comes to his mom Kay. The Dallas Buyers Club star has adorably dubbed his ma ‘K-Mac,’ and has paid tribute to her in interviews or his award speeches. The affable Texan took Kay to the world premiere of Two For the Money in 2005 where they appeared to have a whale of a time.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea has been through a lot in recent years, with media criticism of her daughter and a brave fight against a recurring cancer. Her loving daughter has been by her side though, and even penned the song “You'll Get Better” in support of her mother. Andrea has attended several of the award shows that Swift has picked up gongs down the years. Mamma Swift joined the “Shake It Off’ songstress on stage at the 50th Academy Of Country Music Awards on April 19, 2015 in Arlington, Texas, where they warmly embraced.

Rihanna

One of the biggest pop stars in the world, Rihanna had a difficult upbringing that was deeply impacted by her father’s alcohol and drug dependency. The “Rude Boy” singer has remained close with her mother since her parent’s divorce when she was barely into her teen years. The Barbados-born beauty even took her mom along to the First Annual Diamond Ball in Beverly Hills in December 2014.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone’s successful acting career is due in no small part to her much-loved mom Krista. The Superbad actress has her mother to thank for helping her largely overcome the crippling anxiety that struck her early in childhood. Stone famously took her mom to the 2015 Academy Awards, and she and her mom were photographed attending a Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton in Hollywood in June 2017.

Drake

Drake might be a notorious womanizer, but at heart he’s really a momma’s boy. The Canadian rapper is super-tight with his Jewish mom Sandi, who raised him after his father left, and even referenced his love for her in the song “God’s Plan.” Fittingly, then, Drizzy has taken the one constant love of his life to many ceremonies and events. One such occasion was the 2011 JUNO Awards in Toronto, where he was photographed embracing his mom on the red carpet.

Katy Perry

Despite several clashes over her alleged ungodly lifestyle and career, Katy Perry still has a lot of love for her parents, including her mom Mary. So, when Paris Fashion Week came around in July 2017, it was no surprise to see Perry arrive in the French capital with her stylish mom in tow, and the adorable pair appeared to have a ball. The “Firework” singer and her mother were even snapped holding hands. Aww.

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has, by his own admission, been a bit of a brat in the past. The Canadian went through a highly publicized phase of promiscuity, drug-taking and law-breaking. But one person who has always stuck by him is his beloved mom Pattie. In 2012 Biebs and his youthful mother attended the 40th Anniversary American Music Awards together in Los Angeles, and shared a warm embrace.

Jared Leto

Actor and musician Jared Leto has spoken publicly of his undying love for his mother Constance. The Requiem for a Dream star was raised by his artist mom after his parents’ divorce. Leto and his glamorous mother turned heads at the Oscars in March 2014, where the Louisiana native brought his mom along as his guest. The pair would have a lot to celebrate too, as Leto took home the Best Supporting Actor gong for Dallas Buyers Club that night.

Shia LaBeouf

Star of the Transformers movie franchise Shia LaBeouf is well known for his eccentric behavior, and it appears he gets at least some of his zaniness from his mother Shayna. A visual artist and jewelry designer, Shayna has been spotted out and about with LaBeouf, often dressed in what could be described as interesting garb. Way back in 2003 LaBeouf took his mom along to the premiere of The Battle Of Shaker Heights, where he even planted a loving kiss on her head. Ahh.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande’s mother Joan is probably her biggest supporter. The Boca Raton-born singer is often seen out with her mom, and it was no surprise when earlier this year she brought her along to the Grammy Awards. Mom and daughter enjoyed a loving kiss in front of the cameras. Joan later wrote on Twitter, “I am so proud of my daughter for a million reasons. But to name a few she stepped out & owned the red carpet. Twice, she gave a phenomenal performance... and she had a great time! Ariana won!”

P. Diddy

P. Diddy might be closely associated with the East Coast/West Coast rap wars of the 1990s, but in reality, he’s just a momma’s boy. The rapper, producer and fashion designer has spoken of his love for his ma Janice and how she has always stood by him, including during a lengthy court battle. Appropriately then, in May 2018 his glamorous guardian attended the VH1 event “Dear Mama: A Love Letter To Moms” with him, and Diddy planted a big smacker on her cheek as if to prove his adoration.

John Legend

Along with his model wife Chrissy Teigen, John Legend has captured the hearts of many on social media. The amiable hitmaker reserves a special place in his own ticker though for his beloved mother Phyllis Stephens. Legend has stepped out in public numerous times with his mom by his side, including at the Jazz In The Gardens event on March 21, 2010.

George Clooney

Until he married Amal Alamuddin in 2014, George Clooney was widely regarded as one of the world’s most eligible singletons. Though his romantic relationships have been of great interest to magazines and gossip sites for years, Clooney’s lesser covered love story with his mother Nina has been one constant in his life. The Syriana star has illustrated his love for ma by stepping out in public with her, as he did in December 2004 when attending the Ocean’s 12 premiere with then-girlfriend Lisa Snowdon.

Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods is widely regarded as one the greatest golfers of all time. The American, however, suffered a very public fall from grace, when reports of his multitude of affairs became public. Throughout the good and the bad though, one woman has always stood by him: his mom Kultida. So, it was a proud day when she accompanied Woods and his children to the White House’s Rose Garden to accept the Medal Of Freedom award from President Donald J. Trump. In fact, his mother was spotted straightening it out after the 45th President got it in a tangle.

Shawn Mendes

Canadian heartthrob Shawn Mendes broke the hearts of teenage girls everywhere when he began dating Camila Cabello in July 2019. Nevertheless, Cabello is not the only leading light in the “Stitches” hitmaker’s life, as Mendes is also wild about his mom Karen. The pair even got matching elephant tattoos in 2017. And Mrs. Mendes posed for a lovely photo with her son and Miley Cyrus at the 2019 Grammys, after being invited as his guest.

Chris Evans

He is known worldwide as Captain America, but Chris Evans has his own heroine in the shape of his beloved mother Lisa Capuano. Evans has often stepped out in public with his mom, including at the 2013 GLAAD Awards with his brother Scott, where she joined her sons on stage for a speech. Evans also took his momma to the Los Angeles premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier a year later.

Vanessa Hudgens

Recent global events have brought with them significant challenges for all of us. Thankfully for Vanessa Hudgens, she has her mom Gina Guangco to lean on in these difficult times. The High School Musical star recently uploaded a charming video of her and her mother dancing the “Cha Cha Slide” outside her home on the social media platform TikTok.

Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan is a hugely popular actor, and perhaps a part of that is down to his heart-warming relationship with his mom. The Black Panther star dotes on his mother Donna, and he fulfilled one of his “biggest dreams” by buying an L.A. mansion to house him and his parents. As his mom is a lupus sufferer, Jordan has been immersed with efforts to find a cure for the disease. Mother and son attended a lupus benefit event together in July 2019 where they embraced warmly.

Miley Cyrus

Pop star Miley Cyrus is notoriously wild, but luckily she has her loving mom Tish to bring her back down to earth when needed. Cyrus is often spotted out and about with Tish and her father Billy Ray. In September 2014 she attended the MADE Fashion Week in NYC with her mother in tow, and the pair were all smiles in the front row at the Jeremy Scott show.

Alice Cooper

Shock-rocker Alice Cooper is touchingly close with his mom Ella Mae Furnier. In December 2018 the “Poison” and “School’s Out” performer told U.K. newspaper The Observer that his nonagenarian parent resides at the same address as him. “My mother lives with me. She’s a tiger. She’s 95 and is my biggest fan. If you say anything bad about Alice Cooper, she’ll be on top of you,” he joked. When Cooper earned a star on Hollywood’s celebrated Walk of Fame, his loyal mom proved her super-fan credentials by attending the unveiling with her son.

Ryan Gosling

Canadian heart-throb Ryan Gosling has been open about his deep love for his mother in the press, and the now-39-year-old has been spotted in public with his beloved mom Donna on numerous occasions. His mother and sister Mandi famously accompanied him to the 2007 Oscars ceremony, and on TV’s The Graham Norton Show in 2017, Gosling revealed Donna even got a compliment from Meryl Streep about her beehive hairstyle. But that flattery came as a result of the La La Land actor asking Streep to lift up his ill-at-ease mom. Aww.

Keanu Reeves

Though there were numerous well-dressed celebrities and much talked-about couples at the 2020 Oscars, one particular duo really caught the eye of the public. That twosome was Keanu Reeves and his mother Patricia Taylor. The 55-year-old Speed actor brought his septuagenarian mother along as his date, and the internet was smitten by the pair and their contrasting tuxedos. In fact, the stylish mom and son looked so great together as they enjoyed a special moment, many people confused them for a real couple.
